Delete your data
How to remove what EdgeLead holds from your Meta account, and how to check a request.
Three ways, any of which works
- Inside EdgeLead. On the Clients page, open the client, go to the Meta tab and press Disconnect. The access tokens and everything read from Meta for that connection are deleted immediately.
- From Facebook. In your Facebook settings, under Apps and Websites, remove EdgeLead. Meta notifies us automatically and the same deletion runs. You are then shown a confirmation code and a link back to this page, which reports what was removed.
- By asking. Contact your account administrator or the EdgeLead team and name the Facebook Page or Instagram account concerned.
What gets deleted
- The connection itself, including the encrypted access tokens.
- Every post, caption, insight and follower-demographic record read from Meta for it.
- The comments read from your posts, with the commenters' usernames.
- The ad results read for your Page and Instagram account.
- Every owner-side report built from that data (Meta owner reports and monthly reports).
- What Edge Meta AI kept for the business: its copy of all of the above and, when no Meta account is left connected to the business, its conversations and the list of creator posts recorded for the business. It stops reading from Meta straight away.
Reports built only from publicly visible data are not affected — they were not built from your Meta account and name no Facebook user.
Check a request
If Meta gave you a confirmation code, open this page with ?code= followed by the
code, or paste it here.
